"A native of Atlanta, I attended College of Charleston in South Carolina to obtain a BA in 1994. With a strong background in both sales and operations, my career took focus in the growing biotech industry in Atlanta. In 2017, I decided to foster my entrepreneurial spirit in a women-owned start-up called Growing Labs, an online distributor of laboratory supplies for the cultivation, analysis, and extraction market, where we have experienced explosive growth by supporting the emerging cannabis industry. My passion for creating processes, implementing solutions, and managing the evolution of a new business has taught me to be patient and flexible - along with my experiences raising three teenagers as a single mom.
As a lifetime mountain biker, I believe spending time outdoors is the best prescription for living your best life. My kids are my world, and I’m passionate about animal rescue and a healthy lifestyle." -Katie Greer
